Brighten Up Bramley

Brighten Up Bramley…

We meet for a couple of hours most weekends to help tidy up our village. For more information on timings, check with Bramley Update or contact us by email bramleyvillagesociety@gmail.com.

We welcome Duke of Edinburgh volunteers.

We have planted over 10,000 daffodil bulbs in Bramley - by the railway line, at Gosden Common, along the A281, outside the Library, and along past Coronation Oak to the bus stop on Birtley Road.

We replaced the rotten posts supporting the vine on Rhens Place

We repainted bollards, handrails, cycle racks, the Jubilee Sculpture and the bench outside the library.

We cleared the flower bed alongside the pathway from Library Car Park…

And replanted the bed with new shrubs.

We cut back overgrowth on the Downs Link path from the end of Eastwood Road to the Birtley Road layby
